I'm new to this & would love to find someone who has the same interests as I do. I don't think we have anything to lose by at least trying, right? Hopefully, this will be a fun adventure! Briefly, let me tell you what I'M NOT looking for. I dislike people who are close-minded, shallow, dishonest, fake, or people who don't care for our environment, pets, & their health. Uh, coming off too strong eh? Well, I can be a lil passionate about some things, especially some my beliefs/philosophies. My turn-offs would be a liar, a cigarette smoker, or someone who's arrogant. What I hope to find is someone who will make me laugh, be my best friend. I enjoy anyone that's genuine, fun, a total goof-ball, kid-at-heart but still a man (know what I mean?).
If you're anything like me, you love to cook--seriously cook!--love rare wine, dark beers as much as I do, travels, loves the outdoors rather than staying put...we'll be good friends! I'm a true California Girl, meaning: I DO hike, backpack, camp, rough-it, climb, whitewater kayak/paddle, (you name it)& I take care of myself; I'm not just saying that to be cute ;-D...It seems very cliche out here but I seriously enjoy those things. But I'm also not one of those silly Cali-girls that hugs trees & has a dolphin tattoo. If you love animals/pets, then we'll connect too. I'm ambitious, funny, and love to laugh...HARD!! I'm very silly sometimes & don't take every little thing seriously. I'm more laid back about life & would rather see the cup as half full. Life's too short not to enjoy it. I have traveled a lot throughout my life but have waited to meet someone to see those places on the top of my list with. I enjoy working out often(if I can) to stay in shape. I'm in the Medical Field in SF. Hopefully you live in the San Francisco area, but I miss SoCal a bunch. You are honest & trustworthy. Like me, you're ambitious and have goals. You actively strive to achieve them. Sometimes you fail, but you rarely quit. You can distinguish between alone time & being alone. You have people that you love for 'no reason', and hopefully, you're forgiving, not someone who harbors anger or grudges. You don’t leave out the details in such a way that it is technically not a lie. You don’t actively seek attention by being obtrusively vocal, yet you are still noticed. Your attractiveness doesn’t hinge on your physical appearance alone, rather on how exceptional you are. You are mature enough to understand that you cannot be all of these things!
Should a say more about me? Hmm...I care about my appearance but seldom take too long to get ready for a night out. Make-up is not necessary for me but I like to get dolled-up for a nice night out with you! I am confident but not overzealous. Honesty & communication is my strongest suit. I don’t like conflict, I HATE drama, & refuse arguing over piddly things. I'm a media sponge, I take in everything: Good Movies, the Paper, Sports, Books, the Net, etc. Did I tell you I'm a gadget/tech-freak?? I've loved music all my life--9 concerts in 2 mos right now (whew!) I've become a download-freak too, collecting, listening to a wide variety. I have owned an acoustic Gibson Genesis guitar I bought back in college, I'm terrible. No joke! But I try! hee hee.
I love entertaining/cooking gourmet & eclectic foods with friends & family, I'm a passionate cook. I have a thing for hot & spicy too. I also have a very creative side. I enjoy anything fun/daring/adrenalyzing but also enjoy staying in & cuddling with someone special while watching a film.
Most importantly about you, that you be honest, you're compassionate, trustworthy, & have a strong sense of integrity. If you're looking for friends with bennies, just keep looking (I'm not her). What else to add? hmmm...I LOVE the water, have to be near it! I'm happiest when I am closer to a beach. I also enjoy street fests, open-air concerts, my vintage motorcycle, snow, sun & surf, nights out in the city, roughing it, passionate kisses, tender silent stares, and long good-byes in the morning (wink-wink).
